Abstract

ABSTRACT


This study aims to: a) empirically determine the effect of compensation on the productivity of Bank Sumut employees. b) empirically determine the effect of work discipline on the productivity of Bank Sumut employees. c) empirically determine the effect of work competition on the productivity of Bank Sumut employees. Penelti used quantitative research methodology. According to the research there is a correlation between salary and productivity of 0.561, with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05; the correlation between work discipline and productivity is 0.528, with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05; and the correlation between work competition and productivity is 0.528, with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Compensation, discipline, and job competition have a small but significant impact on employee productivity, with tcount values of 3.684 for compensation, 3.011 for discipline, and 2.867 for job competition. The factor in this study that has the greatest impact is compensation, with a value of 3.684.
