Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of coordination on employee performance at the Tungkal Jaya Subdistrict Office, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The sample in this research consisted of 48 respondents, while the data collection method used was a questionnaire. This research is included in quantitative research through the use of simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing for the coordination variable (X) showing the value of t count> t table (3.175> t table 2.014), then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a significant influence between the coordination variable on the performance variable. So from this case it can be concluded that there is an influence between the variables coordination of employee performance variables at the Tungkal Jaya Subdistrict Office, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The determinant coefficient value (R Square) is 0.180. From the results of the coefficient of determination R2 (R Sequare) of 0.180, it shows that the coordination variable influences performance by 18 percent, while the remaining 82 percent is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. The coefficient value for the standard error of the estimate is 0.344. This means that the validity in predicting employee performance is 0.344.
